What You Should Know About Me

Ready to grow? Unleash your potential with the guidance of a life coach who’s lived the challenges and triumphs and wants to help you do the same!

I’ve been married for 23 years. I have three beautiful young adult children, including one in the LGBTQ+ community and one who was adopted from foster care as an adolescent. I spent many years doing volunteer work before returning to school in my late thirties to pursue my dream of helping others navigate life’s challenges.

With a rich tapestry of life experiences, including overcoming childhood trauma, adapting as a military spouse, and navigating non-traditional family and career paths, I bring a profound understanding of diverse challenges to my coaching practice. My empathetic approach is shaped by real-life experiences that resonate with clients from various backgrounds, enabling me to connect on a deeper level and offer insights that are both practical and compassionate.

As a life coach, I utilize evidence-based strategies tailored to individual needs, creating a supportive and goal-oriented partnership that fosters personal growth and positive change. My commitment to continuous learning and professional development ensures that I stay abreast of the latest coaching methodologies, allowing me to offer relevant and effective guidance. I value collaboration and personal connection, and I work closely with clients to explore goals, overcome obstacles, and celebrate successes, fostering a sense of confidence and empowerment.

Whether you are seeking clarity in relationships, career, health, or personal development, my blend of intuition, understanding, and professional training equips me to guide you on your unique journey toward fulfillment and well-being.

*NOTE: While I am a therapist-in-training, I am not yet licensed to diagnose or treat mental illness. My services are limited to those typical of life coaches. However, within my role as a coach, I utilize my counseling education, research, and training to help my clients find solutions that will best address their needs. This might mean that you’ll get to try solutions normally found in therapy offices. However, it may also mean that the best ethical course of action is for me to refer a client to a licensed mental health practitioner for additional treatment.
